So? What is a codex, why did people destry them? or why are many of them far from México. Well, it is not so strange if we notice that many of mexican artcraft (or prehispanic art) belongs to some european museum or richman, a simple example: Moctezuma's plume ("penacho" in spanish) wich is in Germany.
However, might they keep it better than us it's good for them to have it, we need to know more about the creations of our past to maintain and use it in our present.
Going back to codexs, we will try to explain a little bit more about them (hopefully know where are they now) in this simple investigation activity.
